New Frost & Sullivan report reviews the growth trends in the IoT market

A recent study by market and research firm Frost & Sullivan predicts that IoT connections in Europe might reach over 9 billion by 2021. The firm also expects the next stage of the IoT revolution to be a transition from human response to events and analysis of data to new use of sentient tools, devoid of human intervention. Today such a transition may seem a bit far-fetched but a few developments certainly already point that way. Some include how the technology is now becoming commercially available, thus garnering the attention of many venture capital funds who now invest in IoT- investments which are predicted to bring about a jump in the number of related start-up companies.
